At John R. Williams School there are many opportunities for parental involvement, and we LOVE parents to be involved! Parents may participate in various organizations and committees supporting the success of JRW students: School Site Council, English Language Advisory Committee (ELAC), District Language Advisory Committee (DLAC), and LCAP Advisory Committee.
Parents are encouraged to volunteer in classrooms as well as chaperone classes on field trips.
Each year an annual Back-to-School Dinner, Back to School Night, and an Open House are held. Additional events include Family Craft Night, Bingo for Books, Harvest Festival, Monthly Movie Nights, and Choral, Band, and Strings concerts.
John R. Williams School annual fund-raising events include the WOG-a-Thon, Popcornopolis Sale, Box Tops for Education, and supermarket loyalty rewards.
School Accountability Report Card (SARC) for John R. Williams are available for parental review.
