Social Emotional Learning
John R. Williams School teaches students how to solve issues and prevent conflict with their peers through our Second Step Social Emotional Learning curriculum. We encourage children to think about their actions and words through a self-reflection process while figuring out the best solution to a situation. Through these lessons, we aim to promote a friendly and welcoming environment every day.
The graphics below illustrate the Second Step process.
